We've just been lucky enough to spend our half term in the gorgeous little village of Beer; one of the last remaining fishing villages with beautiful views. Our caravan at Beer Head Park sat at the top of a hill, giving us an amazing view over the coastline and idyllic fields. I'm disappointed that we haven't really taken advantage of the various coasts and caravan parks around us (Beer was only three hours away and the boys did so well in the car) so hopefully we'll right that in the near future. The weather wasn't great, we had one really lovely day but mostly just warmer evenings. Regardless, it was really lovely to get away for the week and relax. The boys had a blast just playing cards and learning every fact from their Pokemon Handbook - there wasn't any wifi so we all had a chance for some proper quality time together, maybe I'm imagining it now but there were far less meltdowns that usual. Having the beach on our doorstep was such a luxury, even if the hill was pretty steep to climb back up! Colin's currently searching for a summer holiday, we've promised to take the boys on a plane, I think we've got the bug. Any recommendations for family-friendly locations, please and thank you, would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't blogged in forever, but I have really missed it. Life has, as always, been crazy. I'm teaching nearly full-time while trying (and failing) to run a house and make sure the kids are fed, clean and watered. I haven't watched a proper TV show for like a year. I'm three quarters of the way through university - Tuesday marks the last day of my third year. Assignments have been thick and fast this year, with various group projects and planning in between. With that finished for the year, hopefully I'll have a little more time to spare. I'm not sure where this little space will take me in the future, I have always toyed with the idea of vlogging too but that's another kettle of fish. This is where I feel most comfortable, where I hope to look back one day to remind myself of these days when my babies were babies. The days are long, but the years are short.

Bee.
