Last month we visited Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire. We stumbled upon it after a quick Google the morning of Colin's birthday, the boys were desperate to go to a zoo and we fancied a change. Despite the fact we hadn't heard of this particular park before, the prices were reasonable and the reviews were good so we decided to take a gamble. It definitely paid off! It was the perfect size for our boys, we managed to walk around the enclosures twice, going back to see our favourites once we had done a circuit, before the boys got tired. They also have an incredible play area and a huge open space wild area which we didn't even see! The Big Cats in particular were awesome, such a variety of our favourite animals, I wish I had taken my big camera but I guess that just means we'll have to go back another time! Daniel's favourite animals were the ocelot and otters, Joshua couldn't choose! Bags of food are available to buy at the entrance, the amount of animals you are allowed to feed amazed me, the ones you can't are clearly signed, which was an amazing experience. We bought food at the on site restaurant which was fairly priced and pretty tasty, I believe there were a few options including hot dog carts in the mini fair by the entrance. We'll definitely be visiting again. the boys had a blast!
