Weekly Wishes [02]


Last week's wishes went relatively well. I feel so preoccupied at the moment, like I'm worried I might drop one of my many plates. I'm not sure if my body's trying to fight something off, I've been really lethargic and there's a lot of bugs going around so that decreased my productivity too. 

Health
// Exercise. 2 runs, 1 spin workout and 2 yoga workouts. Well. I did exercise, a little. 2 yoga workouts and a little run, so that's better than nothing I guess. Just, life. 
// Track my calories with Lifesum.  Unsurprisingly, I'm now completely over this app. It just made me feel bad haha. 

Blogging
// Use my big camera twice. Once was too dark to shoot anything, but the sun graced us on Saturday and I got quite a few sweet shots, including my 2/52 pictures. 
// Comment on at least 10 blogs. Go me! 

Life
// Q&A a Day with Colin. We managed all of two days, I had a bunch of early nights last week so it's my bad. 
// Three activities with the boys. Tick. I kept it simple with watercolour painting (twice!), playdough with number cutters and a supermarket role play. 

Uni
// Read "The Star of Kazan" for English. Done. I may have done it over the weekend and the boys may have had waaay too much screen time, but it's done all the same. I actually really enjoyed reading, and didn't want to put the book down even after 11pm. I'd forgotten what it was like to get lost in a book. 

This week's goals, taking it easy:

Health
// Drink 4 glasses of water a day. My major fail in life is not drinking enough. Iced water, preferably, only a splash of squash allowed. 
// Softball practice & game, plus a run and a yoga workout. That sounds doable.

Blogging
// Comment on at least 10 blogs. 
// Interact more on IG. No pressure. 

Life
// A doodle a day. Inspired by Andrea Pippins #wedoodle challenge. 
// Three activities with the boys. One outdoor adventure, one craft and one imaginative play. 

Uni
// Write 3000 words on the factors affecting learning. I've started and should be writing right now but I'm really struggling with the mountain of textbooks. I have plenty of time before Monday though, right?!

  3. Ooh I love weekly wishes, just writing about it makes me more likely to achieve it - as proved by the number of items you've been able to cross off your list here! I love the idea of a doodle a day, what fun!

  4. good luck with your list this week, i love lists and have never thought of doing a one about things i want to achieve each week, i normally just have shopping/cleaning lists. x #TheList
