Today has been TOUGH. Both boys are exercising their two and four year old tantrum rights, our house is ringing with the screaming and shouting. But that isn't what I want to remember when I'm old and grey, reading back on this like a memoir. I want to remember the silver linings. Joshua showing off to all the oldies at Nana June's care home, pretending to be Spider-Man. Daniel begging to listen to more audio books. The excitement over new colouring pencils. The hours spent playing "shops", though not without it's difficulties. The giggles while eating ice pops in the bath, and putting their pyjama trousers on their heads. Joshua trying so hard to hold up two fingers when I ask how old he is. Daniel reading his book and recognising some of the words. There, that made me feel better. That and the box of chocolates.

  1. Such gorgeous bright photos. It is so hard to find the good in the day sometimes but although there was some difficult moments it sounds like there was lots more happy ones too. :)

  2. I love the life in your set.
I am torn between #2 and #3 as my favorite.
I think reading Spiderman wins - I have a heart for little boy superheros :)
