Clacton-On-Sea through my iPhone lens. We were minutes away from the beach, staying in a sweet little caravan with my parents. We explored the Pier, with the bright lights of the arcade and sweet smell of candy floss. We spent hours digging giant holes and building sandcastles, for my mini destructors to demolish. We barbecued our dinner nearly every night, eating outside whenever we could and getting some strange looks from our neighbours. There was always a ball game of some sort going on - boules, tennis, catch, football, you name it. We only had a couple of rainy days, though being right on the coast it was super windy, we were lucky with the weather. We spent whole days on the beach, watching the planes fly overhead and the boys splashing their feet in the sea. I read two whole books, and took glorious near-daily naps, thanks to my wonderful parents. We saw an air show, and went to the zoo. We really did have the best holiday ever.
