001. Daniel filled up his #goodchoicejar this week, so we went for a little date to the cinema, just the two of us. I totally psyched him up for it, we went to see Madagascar 3 which I was pretty excited about, so of course things didn't go to plan! Nanny looked after Joshua, and we headed off in the car, with Daniel asking every two minutes "Why is it just you and me? Joshua's with Nanny?!" He claimed to be happy about it though! We went to pick up his new school coat first, and get some treats. Hurdle one, I realised I had forgotten my bank card, so I paid for his great with cash, having just enough spare for the cinema. Hurdle two, I did not. They changed the kids club rules earlier this year and instead of getting in free with Daniel's ticket I also had to buy one. Queue panic, and a raid of my car for change! Luckily I scraped together enough & off we went! Daniel loved the film, it was really funny! Hurdle three, half way through I realised I didn't have enough money to pay for the car park, so I panic text Colin & my Mum, luckily the cinema validates your parking for an extra hour. Hurdle FOUR, my car wouldn't start because the key's broken and the steering lock was on, but it did eventually! Phew, that was one seriously stressful date, but fun all the same!

002. I also locked myself out of my house the next day. Serious bad luck. The last three days have been amazing though, so I'll take it.

003. We had a visit from my cousin Caitlin this week (two actually!) The boys absolutely adore her, and she's a very welcome distraction - I got a lot of jobs done! Daniel told me once or twice that I wasn't allowed to play with them, which was slightly heartbreaking, but a nice break!

004. We have been soaking up the last of our summer. No doubt we'll be in boots and jumpers next week. Ticking the last few things off our summer bucket list and spending a lot of time outside. Doing as much washing as I can to dry it on the line, and a last spring clean with the windows open. I love summer, and will be sad to see it go, but at the same time I'm pretty excited for fall. I made a fall bucket list earlier, and busted out a couple of my favourite fall colours/patterns - khaki & leopard print! Pinterest has me longing for cosy jumpers and cute ankle boots too!

005. On Tuesday, my baby starts Nursery school. I can hardly believe it, I'm an emotional wreck over it. I spent an evening this week ironing his uniform and the labels into it, heartbreaking. I did, however, get the cutest labels from Stuck On You which softened the blow a little! I go back to work too, boo! Luckily, my wonderful/incredible/generous/amazing Mama is going to look after the boys for me, which is an absolutely perfect scenario. I wasn't looking forward to searching for a new childminder, or paying them a crazy amount compared to what I actually earn, so I am so thankful for her! I'm so happy Joshua is going to be with her, as she's really the next best thing to me! I've told Daniel we can do whatever he wants tomorrow, because it's our last day of 'freedom' haha!

Lots of Love
