I would just like to clarify that Daniel chose his own outfit, and would not listen when I told him he would roast in a long sleeves t-shirt, or that it didn't match. & yes, he does have one neon pink toenail. It's our compromise when he wants his nails painted like me.

Painting with water is one of our favourite sunny day activities, because it's something both the boys can do, it's creative and it involves no cleaning up! Win win win! All you need is a patio, some paintbrushes and a pot of water. It actually keeps them entertained for a pretty long time too, as long as you keep filling the water up because someone (ahem, Joshua Reg!) keeps spilling it, of course. I also like to paint shapes on the ground and quiz Daniel on them, he like me to paint people and cars the best. We have to draw our family, Mummy, Daddy, Daniel and Joshua. Related, Daniel likes to think that everything has a "Daniel-one", if they have a smaller version (children, baby animals, little cars etc), which is really quite cute.

Lots of Love

  2. ha ha, both my boys like their toenails painted! My husband paints his toenails in the summer too, he did this long before he met me :)

I buy "boy" colours, blue, green and black and then I don't feel so bad about my little boys running around with painted toenails.
