The day we
travelled four hours in the car, to get to Cornwall.
found the caravan, eventually, had a nose around & then went to find a supermarket.
explored the caravan park, to find all the important places (the club house, the laundrette, the children's area, the arcade & the parks!
jumped up and down on the wobbly bridge, making Joshua giggle.
climbed, balanced, slid, swung & rode on Nanny's shoulders.
checked out the children's entertainment, which both the boys adored. They danced around like mad, with us sitting on the edge of the dance floor. Joshua kept running back over for a big hug and kiss, which was adorable.

Let my kids eat popsicles before dinner.
But, when you're trying to contain two toddlers in a caravan with an open door, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Co-sleep.
I was terrified of sleeping with Daniel, 'in case' but Joshua comes into our bed at least once a night, and I feel safe and secure.
Let my kids eat sweets or chocolate.
In all fairness, with Joshua I held out until a year. But my boys probably have a little sweet treat once a day, even if it's just a biscuit. They do eat healthily 95% of the time though!
Breastfeed once my babies had teeth.
Daniel only had a couple when he self weaned, but Joshua has at least eight now & we're still going strong. I think I was scared of being bitten mostly. I also said I wouldn't breastfeed once my baby got old enough to ask for milk, but Joshua is this close, and even started tugging at my shirt while we were at the beach last week & he was tired! Breastfeeding is a funny thing though, who knows when I'll stop.
Let my kids watch TV.
I do try and limit their TV viewing to a show a day, but it is an absolute lifesaver if I need to get chores done or a feeling a little tired (like at 6am!)
Have 'that kid' who tantrums in public.
LOL. Tantrums, and toddlers, cannot be controlled. Silly, silly, pre-baby me.

001. We're back! We had a lovely week in Cornwall with my parents, but it's lovely to be home! We stayed in a friend's caravan, and the site was brilliant! There were half a dozen parks all within a 10 minute walk (some bigger than others, just look at that pirate ship! Amazing!), we were only about 10 minutes from the centre with the swimming pools arcade, clubhouse, and entertainment. They put on children's shows every night, with their characters Sid the seagull and Lizzie the lizard, who the boys loved! We found a lovely little beach about 20 minutes drive, which we visited a couple of times (I have a ton of pictures to share!) and the weather was good, we didn't have any rain just a couple of overcast days. Perfect!
002. My boys are completely chalk and cheese, it's actually hilarious. Daniel's pretty shy and cautious, Joshua is fearless and unbelievably confident. At the children's entertainment, Joshua was straight off, up to the front of the stage, in the middle of a group of children or flirting with the ladies, whereas Daniel wasn't so keen to join in, especially at first. He takes a little longer, prefers to sit with his Mama until he finds his feet. By the last night though, he was breakdancing on the floor!
003. I'm thinking about doing a little research and incorporating some Montessori ideas into our day-to-day. The little I have seen seems perfect for Joshua, if you have any information or resources I'd be very grateful! To Pinterest!
004. I've spent all day trying to back-up and update my phone, only to find out there isn't enough space on my laptop! There are hardly any applications on there, all pictures I think! Daniel's whole life is on there, I really really need to back it all up! This week's plan! & a pirate week, I think!
