001. I had a major moan on IG on Monday morning, about my wonderful threenager. I was absolutely blown away by the amazing support I got from fellow Mama's, knowing we're all in the same boat made me feel SO much better, thank you all so so much for sharing your stories!

002. We've had some seriously early starts this week - any time between 6 and 6:30am, and it might be slowly killing me. Usually I can nurse J back to sleep and Daniel will play nicely in his room, but J's eyes have been wide open & it's a choice between letting him climb all over me & sit on my head or getting up, so I'm choosing the first option. I can barely function that early, especially after being up once or twice before that, but I have been getting a few jobs done so I'm almost thankful for the extra time.

003. We went to the coolest indoor play area on Saturday for Daniel's best friend's birthday. Kids'n'Action has a soft play area, with slides, little tikes cars, a ball pit & more that I didn't see, and some amazing role play rooms - our favourites were the supermarket and construction room! I'm hoping to go back pretty soon with the boys, we had so much fun!

004. We've spent a lot of time outside again this week, cooling off in the paddling pool & digging for treasure in the sand pit mostly. We visited a park today with a little splash pad & a giant wooden play area with sand, the boys had loads of fun and I was able to sit and relax while Nana & Grandad played with the boys for once! We'll definitely be visiting again, maybe next week!

005. This week I have one day left at work! We have Daniel's pre-school party tomorrow, so I've taken the day off to take him & Joshua, they always have a good entertainer and some fun crafts so I'm excited for them! I've planned themes for each week for the summer to keep us busy, next week is vehicles (cars, trains, planes, construction etc) so we'll see some builders on the way to the party and I have some more fun stuff planned for later in the week! Love being organised & having lots to do!

Lots of Love

  1. Oh I love your idea of a theme every week, I want to do something similar, but education related as J is really into learning right now, so I think I best take advantage! hehe. And that soft play area sounds just like Underwater Street, it looks amazing :) xx
