(My best friend, the boys' Godmother, took these pictures of us this afternoon. I absolutely adore them. Daniel tickling his brother. Laughing together. Being 'read' a story by my three year old. Joshua's bare legs after stepping his too-big trousers off for the hundredth time. Messy Mom-hair. Genuine smiles.)

Watching Teen Mom 2, after introducing myself to Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Quality TV time today, although it's SO BAD it's SO SO GOOD! My guilty pleasure, as I'm sure I've mentioned, is awful reality TV.

Hoping to spend more time as a family in the near future. Spending the week together was just so wonderful, I'm excited to sort out some 'family days' on Colin's days off - going for walks, having picnics, going swimming, bike rides & good old fashioned quality time!

Wearing a grey jumper & oxblood jeans. Absolutely hating that the weather has worsened, again, and the layers & dull colours have come back out. Yesterday we had to bundle up in snowsuits, hats and scarves! In May! Ridiculous! I've becoming Pinterest-obsessed again, pinning and pining for

Planning Joshua's first birthday party next! I'm freaking my freak, but distracting myself with the planning. I'm unsure whether I really want anything 'big' after Daniel's parties & the Christening, but I feel he deserves it - as his brother had one, of course. I've decided on a jungle theme, and found the perfect invitations, but I'. Thinking perhaps more of an afternoon-tea rather than a big party. Especially with me going back to work two weeks before too, I'll have enough on my plate & would rather just have close family. I'm also hoping to take the boys to the zoo for it, just like we did for Daniel.

Lots of Love

  2. What sweet photos! Good luck planning that party. It is harder with two isn't it? But they don't really care or compare the way we do. At least not while they're so small... A tea sounds casual and so so nice!
