Valentines crafts. A day for celebrating love, and PINK! I'm in.
Snacks. Three of my vices - diet coke, dark chocolate & cashews.
A warm, yummy lunch after a walk in the snow.
Little crossed ankles. Cute kids are cute.

Right now we're trying out controlled crying with Joshua, so I really needed this little reminder. He cried for five minutes before I went in, rocked him, and stood in his room for five minutes. He was watching his music, tossing and turning to keep himself awake, and cried as I left. He seems to have quietened down now, but I'm still clutching my glass of wine, as if it's holding my hand through this. It will all be worth it - we're having some pretty sleepless nights and this should help. We did it with Daniel and I always recommended it to everyone, but now I'm being hypocritical because it's so difficult. Colin's making me, actually.

  1. Awww, keep up with it!! It is really hard to hear them crying, but it's so worth it in the end! (I sucked at it myself and it was really hard to get Lachy sleeping though, but we got there!) Just stock up on the choccy's and cashews to get you through the rough patches!!

  2. I clicked on over because I saw your sweet craft. That is perfect for little hands (I have twin 2-year-olds). I'd love for you to share this at my Season's Best {Valentine} Link-up:

Also, good luck with the crying. We also did with our twins, too...it was hard, but now it is bliss. (They are fantastic sleepers. Amen!)
