This week we gave Joshua his first taste of 'real food'. Up until then, he had been exclusively breastfed, which I absolute adore, but it was time. Baby was reaching and grabbing at our food, getting crosser and crosser, and watching us like a hawk even when we drank. He had even started making movements with his mouth while watching us eat. With his 6 month birthday fast approaching, we decided it was a good idea to start introducing some first tastes. We started on Monday, a mixture of baby rice and expressed milk. Yum. Except Joshua didn't seem to think so, though he pulled that face everytime he didn't turn away and did actually eat a fair amount! We quickly moved on to apples, then bananas (favourite!) and then carrots. I have a fascinating article to share with you this week about babies and their first tastes! Plus more adorable baby-eating pictures!

Hello! I had a question for you about possibly collaborating on something and was hoping you could email me back to discuss? Thanks so much!

Please don't remind me how close to the 6 month bbirthday we are. I am dreading starting solids with G. Dreading it. Can't she just be on my boob for another year or so? Ha.
