It's so late & I'm so tired but I have so much to write about.

I've been carrying on running, and loving it really. It's hard but it makes me feel really good, definitely worth it! I messed up the C25k schedule a little, somewhere, and did week 4 day 1 today. I think I'm going to try and go out every other day, fingers crossed! Anyway, today I ran/walked 2.58 miles in 32 minutes, which I'm quite proud of! My healthy eating hasn't been going great this week, too many snacks & no tracking of calories. Tomorrow is a new day!

Hold me. We have (unofficially) started potty training. We tried a couple of weeks back & just had a ton of accidents so I wasn't even thinking about it again. Earlier in the week, after changing Daniel just before bath time earlier this week I left him without a nappy on, and suddenly he started begging for one so I knew he had to go, and bribed him with a treat to do a wee on the toilet! Every night since he has done something on the potty every night, I think having pants on him confused him, so we've been letting him go nudey-dudey and he's been doing great. All morning today he was nappy-less, and had two wee's with no accidents! He wasn't so into it at his grandparents this afternoon, but he has pre-school tomorrow & Tuesday and that's stressful enough so we're going to wait until Thursday (we have toddlers and Tumble Tots Wednesday) and really go for it! I've decided to do stickers instead of chocolates, because I don't want him having too many treats (mean Mummy!) and he's loving it! Fingers crossed it works out this time!!

I have been loving joining in with #fallstylephotoaday on Instagram! I like that the different 'topics' each day make me think about what I'm wearing a little more & make more of an effort. Jeans and white t-shirts are still making near-daily appearances but with more accessories, it makes me feel good!

We went to the cinema yesterday, to see The Lorax at the kids club our cinema holds. If you have an Odeon near you I would definitely recommend checking it out! They do showings of family films, at discounted children's prices, and an adult gets in free too! It cost me £2.50 for me and both boys (Joshua was free) plus popcorn! For that price, I wouldn't have minded if one (or both!) boys started to get restless but they both did great! Joshua fed or slept through it, and Daniel munches through popcorn and sat good as good the whole time! A great activity for weekends when Daddy's at work and we want to get out of the house for a little while!

Linking up to Amy at a good life for Our Week in iPhone Pictures.

Lots of Love

  1. Love the polka-dot socks! I want to be a runner someday - I just have to get over hating running.
