358. I am

... freaking out that Daniel starts pre-school next week. We have his home visit Thursday, then he goes on Mondays and Tuesdays. I've chosen to send him at two-and-a-half, because he's been looked after by a childminder (or three) since he was 10 months old and I think he needs that independence. It will also be nice to have some one-on-one time with Joshua, and get things done so we have more time in the afternoons to play. But, oh my heart. Joshua has his jabs that same day, I'm going to be a wreck. I've got my best friend coming over for moral support, so that will definitely help!

... enjoying these last few days of 'summer' by crossing off a few more bucket list activities before snuggling up in jumpers, jumping in leaf-piles, making soup & having movie-days complete with popcorn and sofa-forts.

... thinking about doing the C25k. Call me crazy, as I am not a runner, or an exerciser at all really. I've drafted my brother in as my 'trainer', and will probably be 'running' in the evenings once the boys are in bed, and at weekends, around his work hours. I often can't be bothered to do anything after 8, but once or twice a week is manageable! Wish me luck! I'm also tracking calories, which is difficult with breast feeding but quite interesting. I'm basically aiming to lose this mummy-tummy I have this time around.

... thankful for my MIL who likes to garden. She's been over twice already this week, as gardening is something that REALLY doesn't appeal to me. Like, nor does cleaning the toilets, but I still do that, just not the garden.

... overwhelmed at the thought of buying a house. Ohmygosh! I HATE moving, but this house would need a lot of work doing (carpets, windows, kitchen etc) if our landlady would even consider selling it. I didn't think we were in a position to buy yet, but Colin's got the idea into his head now, and is meeting with a financial advisor this week. As he is an estate agent and I'm clueless, I'll basically leave it up to him. But I'm dreaming of making a house our own, choosing paint colours and curtains, it does make me smile.

... planning on taking the boys to the London Aquarium once the Paralympics is over. Daniel would be in his element, he loved the fish at the zoo so much. I just need to find an unsuspecting friend to come along and help wrangle my two kiddos!

... looking forward to tomorrow. Toddler group, getting my tooth fixed (again!), seeing a good friend & going out for dinner to celebrate my parents' anniversary. The makings of a good day!
