These pictures are from last week, Daniel thought the front-camera was hilarious, and kept trying to make his bottle cheese! Crazy boy!

Yesterday was possibly the hardest day of being a mother-of-two so far, we had a busy day -going to a toddler group at 9:30am, back for lunch & a nap, then to visit my Nan for the afternoon. I think I took on too much, especially as I had Daniel walking with me everywhere, in the rain! Plus he hadn't napped for very long, and was pushing his boundaries, as expected from any two year old. By the time we got home both boys were crying, I was so late starting dinner, I was sore because Joshua had only fed on one side, and cross at myself for losing my temper with Daniel (being outside, and having nowhere to use a time-out, I made him hold my hand and regretted it because I love when he holds my hand & I don't want him to think of it as a punishment!) After a good cry, snuggles with my boys and a pep talk from Colin (and a large glass of wine, once I got the bottle open!!) I felt much better. We'd had a much better morning, baking cakes & playing with playdough, and this afternoon we've got a playdate! It's days like yesterday that make me really glad I started this blog, somewhere to keep the good memories and to look back at whenever I need to.

  2. Oh I can relate! We just added our third less than 3 weeks ago and it is an adventure. It has been a lot of reflecting on my part! I am glad you had a better morning.

  6. Cute photos! I also have two boys, five and two. The two-year-old is so much work these days, and I feel like it happened overnight. I can't imagine having an infant too...
