164. Best Friends.

Apologies for being so absent, luckily everything's back to normal now, & I am SO pleased about that! Tonight I'm home alone as Colin's gone out with the guys from work, so I'm snuggled on the sofa with a plate of chips and a pussycat, catching up on blogging! Major downside is that I need a drink but am too cosy to move! #lazy

Daniel & our new kitten, Milo, are absolutely adorable together! Milo follows Daniel round all the time, and the first thing Daniel wants to do when he wakes up/gets home is find Milo! Daniel picks up his toys and wants Milo to play, but gets cross if he's not interested. He's also always trying to force him to eat, strange kiddo! I'm so glad we got a pet when Daniel's so young, he has no fear (even when Milo's having a funny five minutes!) & that's really awesome to watch!

Yes, my living room is always this messy. Despite the frustration, I think it's important that Daniel's toys are always at his level so he is in charge of his own creativity. Basically, this means my floor is always covered in crayons!

Daniel and I have had a lovely day today, at Ascot races with my parents. It was reaaallly cold, but chasing a toddler round warmed me up! Daniel loved seeing the horses, and eating his way through Nanny's picnic! There were fireworks at the end, Daniel's first display and he was good as gold - not even a little bit scared! My babyboy and I, snuggled under a blanket watching the fireworks, watching his little face light up and his fingers wrap round mine, was absolutely magical!

Lots of Love
